Improvement of new customer development; thereby achieving unit market share and parts goals in assigned region. Improve dealer understanding of all UCA programs and systems. Close or assist dealers in closing new major accounts in selected markets.

Principal Responsibilities:

  • Revenue: Develop, realize and maintain incremental revenue by selling and advocating UCA products (Equipment/Parts/Other Services) "to", "through", and "with" dealers within specified territory and or assigned accounts.
  • Dealer Development: Recruit and or further develop dealers that can provide total solutions and programs that drive significant sales in key vertical markets and territories for both equipment and parts.
  • Account Coverage: Qualify, establish and maintain UCA's value propositions to targeted dealers in specified territory.
  • Enablement: Market current equipment and parts programs and develop strategic plans with select dealers to further penetrate current markets, identify new markets and promote the complete UCA solution.
  • Analysis: Analyze forklift dealer's operations in the areas of sales (new and used trucks and parts), marketing, service, rental, financial and overall business operations. Provide dealership with sound and practical recommendations on how they can minimize weaknesses and maximize their strengths and support dealer in the drafting of written action plans with metrics.
  • Provide technical consultation directly or through internal support resources to enable dealers to integrate and support UCA products and parts in their solutions.
  • Provide consultation and focused discussion to dealers when developing monthly, quarterly and yearly revenue targets and goals. Support dealer in the drafting of their written action plans to achieve targets.
  • Provide and promote UCA new product introductions, program introductions and effective positioning to appropriate dealers for equipment and parts.
  • Become the subject matter expert on UCA products, parts, programs, and services.
  • Pipeline Management: Identify, track and facilitate closure of key opportunities.

Education and/or Experience:

B.S Degree in Business or Sales related field is essential. Minimum of three to five years experience handling Outside Sales and Dealerships preferably in a forklift or related industry including automotive or heavy industrial equipment manufacturing environment. Must possess the ability to analyze warehouse operations and make sound recommendations. Requires good verbal and written communication skills along with a demonstrated teamwork attitude.

Technical Skills:

Minimum Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint.
